Glorious Future, Youthful Dream----School of Tourism & Cuisine held New Year Celebration for Overseas Students

    On December 28, 2018, the New Year Celebration for Overseas Students of the School of Tourism and Cuisine, Food Science and Engineering, was successfully held in the Cultural and Sports Center of Yangzijin Campus, Yangzhou University. Li Xiaoyan, Vice President of Overseas Education College, Sun Yunshou, Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhou Xiaoyan, Dean of the School, Wang Jun, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee, Yang Zhenquan, Hou Bing, Vice Presidents and other leaders of departments attended the party.

Students from Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Mongolia and other countries have brought us dances and songs with national characteristics. Chinese students have also brought us traditional Chinese performances.

The whole evening was splendid and full of enthusiasm, bringing a feast of audio-visual for teachers and students both at home and abroad. Dean of the School, Zhou Xiaoyan said in his speech that the event is not only a stage for gathering Chinese and foreign culture, but also a platform for exchanges between Chinese and foreign students, as well as a platform for broadening students' international horizons and cultivating students' global awareness. The centralized display of different culture reflects the college's progress in training international talents and building an international campus. In the future, the College will devote more energy to the cultural blending activities of Chinese and foreign students, create a stronger international campus atmosphere, and assist in the construction of the internationalization of the whole university.
