Recently, as invited by the Editor-in-Chief of "Journal of Renewable Materials" (JRM), Prof. Jun Liu joined in the Editorial Board of JRM. JRM is an interdisciplinary journal publishing original research covering all aspects of bio-based materials, sustainable materials, and green chemistry. The scope of the journal is devoted to reports of new and original experimental and theoretical research in the areas of materials, engineering, physics, bioscience, and chemistry, which are related to the critical renewable and recyclable applications. JRM is an open-access journal which has been indexed and abstracted by SCI, Scopus, Ingenta etc. (2019 Impact factor 1.341). Prof. Antonio Pizzi (H-index: 59) from University   of Lorraine,France, is the Editor-in-Chief of JRM.

       In recently years, Prof. Liu has focuses on the studies of bioactive polysaccharides, polysaccharide-polyphenol conjugates, and active and intelligent packaging. He, as the first and/or corresponding author, has published 70 papers in peer-reviewed SCI journals, such as Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry、Chemical Engineering Journal、Food Hydrocolloids、Food & Function、Food Packaging and Shelf Life、Carbohydrate Polymers、International Journal of Biological Macromolecules. The total impact factor of these papers reaches 314. Seven of his research papers have been highlighted as Highly Cited Papers in the Web of Science.
