On the morning of May 8th, at the invitation of our school, Professor Shi Zhongping of Jiangnan University delivered a lecture and interactive communication in the N302 Lecture Hall of Duxing Building. The academic report was hosted by Vice Dean Yang Zhenquan. All the teachers and graduate students of the Department of Food Science participated in the activity.

Professor Shi Zhongping, with the title of "Efficient Production of Functional Exopolysaccharide and DL Lactic Acid by Lactobacillus plantata and Its Application Research", brought a wonderful academic feast for the teachers and students, and answered the questions raised by the teachers and students in detail and carefully. Shi Zhongping, male, born in May 1962, professor and doctoral supervisor of Jiangnan University, engaged in the research of fermentation engineering and automatic control, published 150 high-level research papers in the field of fermentation engineering, 80 SCI papers, 1,274 times cited, and presided over 973, 863, the Ministry of Science and Technology support, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other 10 projects; It has won 3 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards.
