在澳大利亚悉尼大学农学院和德国霍恩海姆(Hohenheim)大学食品技术研究所分别从事过一年学术访问。主持或作为主要完成者参加国家自然科学基金、“十三五”、“十二五”、“十一五”国家科技支撑重点计划、国家“八五”、“七五”攻关、江苏省科技支撑计划、江苏省高校自然科学基金、教育部回国留学人员科研启动基金、江苏省重点高校外聘专家项目等。获国家发明专利授权4项等。发表论文百余篇,教材专著工具书9部。
